An image library sold as a membership, built and run on Stripe.
Ferio is a subscription image library for designers. Every image is generated in house, then curated, named and rights cleared before it reaches the library. There is no cart and no inventory: the product is access, so we built the store as a members app. Plans are sold through Stripe Checkout and members manage them on their own in the Stripe Customer Portal, with no Shopify store behind it. Ferio is owned by a creative studio; Displace built the library, the studio behind it and the billing, and runs the whole system. We build stores on Shopify, and custom stores on Stripe or another payment provider when the business needs its own checkout.
