Collectible lighting sold like a gallery, with Shopify behind the wall.
Lucas Zito designs collectible lights in Paris, printed from bio sourced and reclaimed plastics. His site had to feel like a gallery, not a shop, so the home page is a dark room where each lamp lights on hover or tap. The collection lives in Shopify and reaches the site through the Storefront API, with product metafields deciding what appears where. Enquiry comes first; the store behind it is ready for the day the studio opens it. Displace designed and built the site from a blank page and runs it.
