One missing handoff made incoming stock disappear. When the last warehouse unit sold, the size read Out of Stock even though more stock was already on the water. A customer found the gap before the team did.

Warehouse stock is available
- Trigger
- The incoming batch is loaded once, before the last warehouse unit sells.
- Automatic response
- The store watches the live stock level.
- Order state
- Orders ship through the normal flow.
How it works
- Load the incoming batch once. Each size gets its incoming units, container code, and arrival window while normal stock is still selling.
- The store watches inventory. When warehouse stock reaches zero and an incoming batch exists, that size changes to pre-order automatically.
- The customer sees the live arrival window and the real batch availability. Once the incoming units are reserved, the button changes to Fully reserved.
- Every pre-order carries its container and arrival window into the order. Fulfilment is held and the customer receives the right timing in the confirmation.
- When the container lands, the team receives the stock and releases the orders already grouped for that batch. The product returns to its normal in-stock state.
What becomes easier for your team
- Switching sizes to pre-order by hand.
- Guessing how many can be sold before the container arrives.
- Editing ship dates product by product.
- Working out which orders belong to which shipment.
- Overselling a size that was never coming.
What we connect
Inventory, product availability, the cart, order tags, fulfilment holds, and customer email move together. Arrival windows live at container level, so one update reaches every affected size and order. The implementation follows the way stock arrives and the way the team fulfils it.
Good for
Brands that sell inbound stock: rugs, furniture, footwear drops, made to order goods, anything that arrives by the container or the batch. It pairs with the trade account tier, so trade customers can reserve incoming stock before it goes public.
